More craft fair projects

These are some luminary that I will be selling at the craft fair.

Craft Fair

These are some cards that I have made for a craft fair that I am working in a few weeks.  Some of them are ideas that I got from other people, but I don't remember who they came from.  I also used some retired products so I will have room for some new goodies.

Progressive Scrapbook Page

This is a progressive scrapbook page that I made for a workshop.  The Crumb Cake is the 6x6 page that was added to the Wild Wasabi to make the 8 1/2x11 page and then onto Whisper White for the 12x12.  All the ladies liked it and this was my best workshop ever.  I got one other booking and a maybe for more workshops!

Baltimore Regionals

I had a blast at the Baltimore Regionals last Saturday!  It was my first Stampin' Up! event and it was worth getting up way early to drive down.  I left there just wanting to work on my business and stamp.  I didn't get to do that, but I did get to spend the rest of the weekend, kid free, with my husband hanging out at the Inner Harbor.

Cards For Soldiers

I am working on some more cards to send to the From Our Hearts organization.  I think this is an awesome way to support our troops.  My husband is a veteran and my oldest is thinking of joining the Air Force when he graduates in 2012.  I hope this organization is still around so that he will be able to send cards home from where ever he may be.  Who knows there might even be one of mine in the box he looks through.  I am hoping to get some pics of the cards up in the next few days.

This is the last swap that I have ready.  I used Marina Mist for the base.  Behind each element is Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler.  The flowers from the Razzle Dazzle set are offset in two colors, Bashful Blue and Marina Mist on top.  The sentiment from Curvy Verses is stamped in Marina Mist.  The ribbon is 1/4" Grosgrain in Early Espresso.
This is another swap for regionals.  The base is Whisper White.  I used a punched out oval as a mask for the Daffodil Delight oval with the I love you from the Three Little Words set.  I used the small heart from the Heart to Heart punch and the Ornament punch for the fish.  The eye is a 1/2" circle punch with a 1/16" circle punched in the middle with Basic Black card stock behind it.  The waves are punched with the Scallop Edge Border punch and are the following colors:  Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, Tempting Turquoise, Baja Breeze and Night of Navy.
This is one of my swaps for the regionals in Baltimore on October 2.  I used Sahara sand for the base and my color spritzer tool to add some Tempting Turquoise to the background.  The panels are Old Olive, Tangerine Tango and Tempting Turquoise.  The scallop at the bottom is Daffodil Delight.  I embossed the swirls from the Baroque Motifs set with clear embossing powder.

Adding gadgets

Well, I think I have gotten the hang of adding gadgets to my blog.  I am very proud of myself for figuring this out with the help of some wonderful SU demos.  I will be posting some pictures of cards from my card club and swaps I am making for regionals in Baltimore.  I am so excited to be going to my very first SU event!

first ever blog

I have created this blog to share my love of all things Stampin' Up!.  I hope to blog at least once a week to start.  I will be adding pictures of my creations and links to all of the great Stampin' Up! goodies soon.  It is going to be a busy next few days so I will be posting again on Tuesday.  We will be celebrating our long weekend by going to see Thunder Over the Blue Ridge tomorrow and taking the boat out on the river Monday.  Sadly, it will probably be our last boating trip.
